Some people get it, some people don't. I know dogs are not people, yet some treat them as if they are. I do not, I think they are more noble. What other creature is there for you 100% of the time? When other humans mistreat you, A dog will pick you up. When you just have a day that kicks your ass, a dog will once again pick you up. Angus has been there for me hundreds of times and I will be there for him today. His body was once 100% muscle, now a cancer has taken most of the bone in his front left leg. He has been limping for a few months, I knew it was not going to be good news. I went to the Vet yesterday and the X-ray shows large gaps in his bone and that could lead to a very painful break at any time. Right now he is sleeping at my feet but today is the day I pay him back for being 100% loyal to me, I will do what has to be done for him.
Angus has a long list of dog friends and human friends that will miss him, thanks to everyone who came into his life and made it richer.

Angus was inspiring. He gave us hope when there has been little for some. He gave comfort to those in need. He gave love unconditionally. He showed us strength when we needed it. He made me smile when I spent time with him and when you told me stories. He will live on in our memories and our hearts. My thoughts are with you Ron. It is hard to return what they have shown and given us.
Thanks for the cry. I just read this to Linny too and we are both crying. Angus was a good dog. I will miss him and Connor will be so confused. Kisses to Doggie heaven :)
I'm very sorry to hear about Angus. As a fellow dog lover, I know how devastating it is to lose one. You're right though, you had to be there for him just like he has been for you over the years. Know that you gave him a great, long life and now he is in a better place. Keep the good memories of Angus in your heart. Hope you're have a relaxing week in Canada. Take care Ron, see you soon.

So sorry to hear about Angus...there is not much else you can really say when that happens.
